The recipes below are made and used by Amy Sanders to created dynamic forms with soft, subtle surfaces at two temperature ranges, low fire and mid range. 

Sanders Mid-Range  Orange Stoneware Sanders Earthenware Val Cushing’s D Base Matte  (Modified)

1 Amy Sanders’ cappuccino mugs, 5 in. (12.7 cm) in height, Sanders Mid-Range Orange Stoneware, Val Cushing’s D Base Matte (Modified) with 4% orange Mason stain, fired in oxidation to cone 6, 2025. 2 Amy Sanders’ balance mug, 5 in. (12.7 cm) in height, Sanders Mid-Range Orange Stoneware, glaze, fired in oxidation to cone 6, 2025. 3 Amy Sanders’ pitcher, 12 in. (30.5 cm) in diameter, Sanders Earthenware, terra sigillata, glaze, fired in oxidation to cone 2 in a soda kiln, 2024.
