The Clay Studio has been dedicated to supporting ceramic artists and educating the public about ceramic art for over 50 years. Located in Philadelphia, their 34,000-square-foot building brings visitors in to view ceramic artwork in the Galleries and Permanent Collection, free of charge, 7 days a week. Resident Artist solo exhibitions, as well as major shows like Clay as Care (Fall 2025), rotate to present the best of emerging and established artists working along the broad spectrum of functional and sculptural ceramic art. The Clay Studio also offers classes for all skill levels, many free public events, and serves nearly 6,000 students through the Claymobile community engagement program each year.
