You'll learn how to:

  • Prepare a flat slab for transferring pattern and adding texture
  • Handbuild a vessel by bringing different components together to form a whole—cylinder, bowl, handles, etc.
  • Use Magic Water to prevent cracking when attaching components
  • Combine newsprint transfers and handmade texture tools to create pattern
  • Inlay and trail underglaze to add vibrancy and interest to your surface designs
  • And much more!

If you would like to work along during the workshop, you will need a slab of clay, your favorite stamps, red/yellow Mudtools ribs, sponge, banding wheel, upholstery foam (not something you have to have, but very handy), slip or magic water/brushes, scoring tool, and something to make holes in the clay.

Registrants can access a recording of the video for 30 days following the event to revisit techniques! (Registrants will be emailed a video link within 48 hours of the webinar conclusion).
