Milo Berezin's pots are known for the playful animals and speech bubbles that adorn the surfaces. And in his Workshop from Home webinar (which is now available on CLAYflicks), Milo demonstrated his full decoration process, not to mention the way he builds his pots using simple press molds.
In this video excerpt, Milo walks viewers through some tips for getting images onto pots. Milo explains how he moved from paper sketching to working digitally in Procreate on an iPad, where he can easily resize, flip, and build a library of motifs ready to apply to any form. He then demonstrates his easy method for transferring those designs directly onto a slipped leather-hard mug. –Jennifer Poellot Harnetty, editor
