Explore Milo Berezin’s approach to illustrated functional ceramics in this virtual, demo-based workshop. Milo will show how to slab-build a ceramic cup using a one-part press mold, then share strategies for combining opaque underglaze, translucent slip, and easy-to-make sgraffito tools to decorate every surface of a pot—inside and out—with playful illustrations and text.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate

In this webinar, You'll learn how to:
  • Slab-build consistent ceramic forms using simple molds that you can find or make
  • Design patterns and illustrations that fully wrap around a form, including bottoms and interiors
  • Develop a versatile image library and transfer images to greenware
