to draw three-dimensional designs onto forms, this webinar is for you! In this 2-hour workshop, Teresa Pietsch will show how she creates backgrounds and images with colored slips on paper and then transfers those renderings onto leather-hard pots
and soft slabs. Teresa will cover all the details including the slips she uses, getting her designs onto forms, as well as the different styles of brushes and slip trailers she uses to make a range of marks.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate
Teresa will demonstrate how to:
Work from the background to the foreground on newsprint to create illustrated surfaces with depth
Successfully transfer newsprint drawings onto a three-dimensional form
Use multiple techniques to add layers of imagery and texture
