Our Workshop from Home Webinar with Amy Irish has been changed due to an unfortunately timed COVID outbreak in Amy's home! We wish Amy and her whole family a speedy recovery! The new date is February 29, 2024, from 1–3pm EST. 

Important Notes:

  • If you have already registered, you will receive an email notification for this change from no-reply@zoom.us with the updated date and time. You do not need to re-register for the new date!
  • The "join webinar" link will remain the same as the link in your original confirmation email

Amy Irish will guide us on this adventure to untangle the seemingly complex process of layered slip, underglazes, and glaze to create dynamic surfaces with visual depth and
texture!

Registrants can access a recording of the event for 90 days following the event to revisit techniques! (Registrants will be emailed a video link within 48 hours of the event's conclusion).

You'll learn:

  • The differences between slips, engobes, and underglazes, and when and how to use each one!
  • How to create base layers with underpainting, and add movement and texture with with combing techniques!
  • How to mix your own slip from scratch and learn various ways to apply it to create surface interest!
  • Amy will also cover stamping, stenciling, slip trailing, paper resist, sgraffito, and more!
