Published in "Working for Others or for Yourself, It's a Choice" by Dennis W. Smith, in the Mar 2006 issue of Ceramics Monthly.This glaze has never been blue in my soda kiln. A thin coating almost always turns jade green. I prefer a thick coating of this glaze with lots of soda. The side of the pot facing away from the soda spray can be matt pink or green with black on the edges. The other side can go light green or black or both.
