Suze Lindsay is a studio potter living and working in the mountains of western North Carolina. In addition to earning her MFA in ceramics from Louisiana State University, Lindsay spent two years at Penland School of Crafts as a “core student,” and later three more years as an artist in residence. In 1996, she and her husband, potter Kent McLaughlin, set up Fork Mountain Pottery in Bakersville, North Carolina. Lindsay has taught at numerous art centers and universities in the United States including Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Tulane University, and Ohio University. She has also taught internationally at Metchosin International Summer School of the Arts in Canada, Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in China, and Curaumilla Art Center in Chile.
