If you haven’t seen me yet on Instagram my name is Mike Griffin and I am a potter. I do all sorts of live videos and instructional videos of processes I use on Instagram almost daily. I teach workshops whenever I can, and I really enjoy meeting and chatting with other potters.
I came to ceramics many years ago when I attended Alfred University for the Liberal Arts program. I knew nothing of clay! I met potters and great teachers who became friends and who inspired me to try my hand at making. I quickly fell in love with throwing on the wheel and that became an obsession to learn as much as I could.
