Martina Lantin was born in Montréal, Canada. Following graduation from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana, Martina continued to develop her throwing skills through apprenticeships and production potting in both Europe and the United States. She earned her MFA from Nova Scotia College of Art & Design University in 2009. Martina has held residencies at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts (Newcastle, ME), Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts (Gatlinburg, TN), and Baltimore Clayworks. Currently, Martina is Assistant Professor of Ceramics at Alberta College of Art & Design in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
