In this video, Amy Sanders demonstrates how she creates textured bisque hump molds and uses them to to make unique varied pieces. You might think using a mold means making many of the same thing, but as Amy demonstrates in this great video, with a little imagination, the variations can be endless!

You'll learn to make these three distinctly different bowls from the same mold:

  • Scalloped coil foot with an added slab rim
  • Rolled foot and puffy rim
  • Wavy rim with in-cut handles and slug feet
Once you master the techniques Amy demonstrates, your gears will start turning for variations of your own.
