twenty finalists on the following pages. This group of artists demonstrates exceptional skill, creativity, and dedication to their chosen areas of interest. The finalists look to nature, culture, daily life, history, interpersonal relationships, memories,
and more for inspiration. They stretch the limits of ceramic practices and materials to create poignant sculptural objects and compelling functional vessels. —Eds.
