After reviewing the artwork shared by nearly 700 applicants to this year’s Ceramics Monthly Emerging Artist contest, we, the editorial staff, are amazed by the talent of the ceramics community. It’s an honor to present the work of twenty finalists on the following pages. This group of artists demonstrates exceptional skill, creativity, and dedication to their chosen areas of interest. The finalists look to nature, culture, daily life, history, interpersonal relationships, memories, and more for inspiration.
