Better Together: Twenty Years of Teapots 

Missouri, St. Louis (August 29–November 1, 2026)

Open to artists over the age of 18. Better Together brings together a diverse range of perspectives, rituals, and practices by inviting artists from various disciplines to explore their relationship with tea sets, services, and rituals. The exhibition seeks traditional teapots, teacups, tea sets, or other objects used in the preparation and consumption of tea, along with artists’ interpretations of the objects. Current Craft Alliance staff or board members are ineligible. All work submitted should be available for sale.

California, Sebastopol (June 20–July 26, 2026)

Open to artists over the age of 18. This exhibition seeks to explore the promise, contradictions, and ongoing struggle of liberty, democracy, and justice. We invite artists of all backgrounds and mediums to submit work to “Resist and Persist: Social (in)Justice,” a juried exhibition that explores personal responses to social upheaval. We are seeking powerful, original works that reflect the moment: art that confronts injustice, reclaims identity, honors resistance, or envisions hope.

International Juried CLAY Exhibition 

New Mexico, Silver City (June 4–21, 2026)

Open to artists over the age of 18. This exhibition is part of the Silver City CLAY Festival, now in its 15th year. The festival highlights New Mexico’s earth, red dirt, and deep cultural history, connecting contemporary clay art with ancestral traditions such as the Mimbres people’s pottery.

New Jersey, Demarest (June 11–July 24, 2026)

Open to artists from the US and Canada over the age of 18. The Art School at Old Church invites artists to apply to In Hand III, a juried exhibition exploring the drinking vessel and the many approaches to this form. Open to ceramic interpretations of functional vessels such as cups, mugs, shot glasses, yunomi, tumblers, steins, and related forms. All work must be available for sale.

Open to artists from the US over the age of 18. This sixth-annual exhibition is seeking work that exposes the systemic issues, hidden crises, and overlooked failures of our modern world—issues that often simmer beneath the surface of mainstream media. Work that addresses environmental & industrial ethics, human rights & social justice, and/or systems of control encouraged. Shino Odyssey

Maryland, Baltimore (September 12–October 31, 2026)

Open to artists from the US over the age of 18. Baltimore Clayworks is pleased to announce a call for entries for Shino Odyssey. This exhibition invites artists to explore and showcase the vast possibilities of the shino glaze family, known for its remarkable sensitivity to clay body, application, kiln atmosphere, and firing duration. All interpretations are encouraged to submit. Submitted work must have been created within the last two years and must not have been exhibited at Baltimore Clayworks. Open to any form of functional or sculptural object or installation, and clay must be the primary material. All exhibited work must be for sale and available for the duration of the exhibition.

Baltimore Clayworks Clay Biennial

Open to artists from the US over the age of 18. Baltimore Clayworks Clay Biennial is a national juried exhibition presented in conjunction with the 61st Conference of the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA), that celebrates the vitality, diversity, and evolving language of contemporary ceramics. Open to ceramic artists working in all styles, techniques, and conceptual approaches, the exhibition seeks work that reflects both technical excellence and compelling artistic vision. Functional, sculptural, installation-based, and experimental works are all welcome. Submitted work must have been created within the last two years and must not have been exhibited at Baltimore Clayworks. Open to artists over the age of 18. This juried market is open to all artists or crafters who exhibit and sell work of original concept and design, and all work must be handmade. We encourage artists and crafters to demonstrate their craft at their booth space during the festival. No manufacturer representatives will be accepted to the Artists’ Market.
