I got this slip recipe from one of Vaughan Smith’s YouTube videos. I swapped in my local ingredients and it works like a dream. Applied with a brush, it takes 2–3 coats to really get good coverage, or you can add a little more water or Darvan to the recipe and dip your pieces successfully.

**Optional: a variety of colorants (3-6%) can be added to the slip base.
