Original recipe from Mike Thiedeman. This is a wonderful tenmoku, both in wood and gas kilns. It shines in the gas! The glaze tends to settle a bit in the bucket, so I try to use it up each cycle. Apply thickly for best results. The wood kiln gives it a beautiful unpredictability, and it can be spectacular. It does tend to run a bit if fired above cone 12.
