Instructions

I do not use cones, but fire this glaze to 1235°C or 1250°C (2255°F or 2282°F). At 1235°C, it fires matte and at 1250°C, it is shiny and runny. 

After firing, take the glazed ceramic out of the kiln while still hot (60–100°C (140–212°F)). Then, rub the surface with black ink and rinse with cold water. The ink will stay in the cracks and give a beautiful pattern of black lines. The effect looks like Raku ware, but the finished piece is stronger because of the porcelain body.
