Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
Gillespie Borate 50.00
Cobalt Carbonate 50.00

Instructions

Variations can be made using 50% oxide and 50% Gillespie borate with the following colorants: copper carbonate, red iron oxide, and rutile. Note: overglazes are not food safe.

Mix the dry materials with water. Cobalt Overglaze is much stronger than any other variation and should be mixed to a thinner consistency (a very light syrup), whereas other oxides may be more accepting of a thicker formulation. Ideal for mid range but can go to cone 10 (expect more movement).
