Ingredients
Instructions
*Substitute Minspar 200 for the Kona F-4 feldspar. Original recipe from Cary Hulin’s Holmes County Pottery. Empire Slip is an Albany Slip substitute. This glaze is silky, like chocolate milk. It’s a joy to work with in the gas kiln or the wood kiln. It’s very stable, reliable, and works well under iron brushwork.
This recipe was shared by Naysan McIlhargey in the June/July/August 2023 issue of Ceramics Monthly.
