Originally published in the February 2018 issue of Ceramics Monthly.This is the most trouble-free black glaze Mark Cortright has ever used. It’s expensive to make, but works well with zero pitting issues. It’s more gunmetal matte when fired cool and shiny when fired hot. Cortright uses it on porcelain.
