This glaze was published in "High Fire Glazes", by John Britt.
This is the base recipe for "Yellow Salt".
The test tile is Black Mountain fired in reduction.
Nice surface on this tile, because of the clay, and because it's fired in reduction. On a white clay, you wouldn't get the breaking on the edges like you see in this example, or the iron spots breaking through the surface because of iron from the body "searching out" oxygen.
