Instructions

Add 0.25–0.5% deflocculant.

The deflocculant percentage is based on the dry weight of the clay. This recipe was adapted from Pete Pinnell's Easy Terra Sigillata. The measurements for the following color suggestions are inspired by Marty Fielding's terra sigillata recipe and are based on using 1 cup of liquid Grolleg base terra sigillata.

For Gray, add between 1–6 tsp.

This recipe was shared by Rhonda Willers in the July/August 2019 issue of Pottery Making Illustrated.
