The images shows details of two bowls glazed with a cone 10 amber teadust glaze. The one on the right was cooled slower, and pyroxene crystals have started to form.

For a dark blue instead of tenmoku, substitute the red iron oxide for 1% cobalt oxide. The crystallizing oxide is magnesium, sourced from dolomite.
