An opaque, satin black glaze. May develop metallic specks. Contains cobalt as a colorant, so any glaze used over it that dilutes the black will produce a deep blue color. In the image shown, the glaze appears on a porcelain test tile fired to cone 10 in a reduction atmosphere.
Mix all ingredients prior to adding the water.
