Ingredients
Instructions
This glaze gives a nice gloss and holds colour well. I have altered Robbie's Y by substituting some of the ingredients that are more readily available to me.
The surface is lovely and glossy but not too glossy (could be more matt if fired lower). Drips are highly visible. Doesn't run and has the potential to grow interesting micro crystals on the surface so I will be doing some experimentation with firing for this.
Image shown with additions of cobalt carbonate 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, 1.2 both brushed on and dipped.
-Needs to be sieved well
- fire to cone 8 with a 10 minute hold at the end
