Published in the July/August 2016 issue of Pottery Making Illustrated.Let the clay and water mixture sit over night or until it separates into layers, then syphon off the middle portion and store it in a lidded container. This middle portion is the terra sigillata. The remainder of the clay slip and water mixture can be recycled.
