Instructions

I use this as an accent glaze, including on cup rims. Original recipes attributed to Chris Gustin.

This cup was first dipped in Original Burke Orange. Next, the entire pot was dipped in Zach's Shino. After applying the shino and while the glaze on the surface was still wet, Ferro Frit 3134 was shaken onto the exterior. This pieces was fired to cone 9 in reduction in a gas kiln.

This recipe was shared by Dick Lehman in the November 2019 issue of Ceramics Monthly.
