The clay body can be seen on the rim of the bowl in the image shown on this page.
To prevent scumming on the surface of the fired clay body, add 1/4 cup barium carbonate for every 100 pounds of dry clay. Dissolve the barium carbonate in hot water first, then add the dry ingredients to the wet.
