Published in "Exploring Glazes: From Perfect fit to Crackle and Matte," in the March 2016 issue of Ceramics Monthly.
The lithium in this glaze activates the surface and makes this glaze work.
Use at a specific gravity of 1.4 or 1.42. When the glaze is applied at that proper thickness, the surface crackles as it dries. If applied too thick, it will crack off.
