This clay is very vitreous and translucent. Begin by weighing out 17% water from your gross batch size and calculating the dry materials based on subtracting the water weight. Use an appropriate proportion of the weighed water to mix the Veegum T separately, and put the rest of the water in the clay mixer or incorporate it more slowly if mixing in a pug mill. Add dry ingredients from dense particles to light. You can also mix this recipe in a slurry form and dry out small batches of it on plaster to a workable consistency.
