Published in "Cone 6-10 Glazes" in the Jan 2015 issue of Ceramics Monthly.
This glaze is just a slight variation on Don Swartz's Base and Fred Herbst's Oribe Glaze. This is the green I brush or dip over Liz White on the rims of the work.
Mix all dry ingredients together prior to adding the water. Add a small amount of Veegum T to a small batch (or a commercial brushing medium) to improve brush ability. Some additives and brushing mediums can spoil, so only add them to a small volume of glaze in a separate container and use within one to two weeks.
