This recipe was originally published in the January/February 2018 issue of Pottery Making Illustrated.
The recipe above will produce a blue glaze. For a clear glaze, omit the Cobalt Carbonate and the Copper Oxide.
Since this recipe contains a high percentage of Gerstley borate, it is best to mix small batches that you will use relatively quickly, as the glaze will gel over time.
