Artist Statement
I am late to this practice of clay. I am inspired by many and my desire is to make and build the ideas that keep forcing their way into my head.
Studio Description
Small space that is inside my guitar making workshop. Yes, I make guitars too.
What type of clay do you use?
Currently mid-fire stoneware but looking to move to high fire and porcelain when we get our own kiln.
What temperature do you fire to?
Mid-fire
What is your primary forming method?
Throwing with some handbuilt add ons.

Yes
What one word would you use to describe your work?
Developing
What is your favorite thing about your studio?
Working alongside my wife, Annette.
What is the one thing in your studio you can’t live without?

What are your top three studio wishes?
A kiln, more space, a cleaner.
How do you save money on materials and supplies?
Recycle clay, make a lot of my tools.

Sketching
What did you first piece look like?
Terrible
Why do you create art?
I believe that everyone has been created to create. So I am just allowing that to happen.
