Artist Statement
My art reflects an ongoing journey of self-discovery, where moments of challenge and revelation intertwine with the demands of daily life. Through painting, clay work, book arts, and other mediums, I explore the evolving nature of identity and the complexities of personal expression. Each piece I create is an attempt to uncover and reclaim my authentic voice, navigating the interplay between form, material, and meaning.
Studio Description
My home studio, set up in a cozy spare bedroom, is where most of my creative process unfolds. The space is thoughtfully divided between pottery and painting, offering room for both mediums. With abundant natural light streaming in, it’s a great space where I can get in the flow.

What are your top three studio wishes?
1. To have the muse visit regularly, keeping inspiration flowing.

3. To share the joy I experience in the making through the final result.

How do you recharge creatively?
I recharge creatively by immersing myself in nature and reconnecting with simple pleasures.
Why do you create art?
I create art to explore and express the complex layers of my personal journey, and to share the discovery, joy, and wonder with others.
If you could change one property of clay, what would it be?
I would make it so you could completely remove a bad glaze job and do over.
