Artist Statement
Clay is the vessel and imagination is the soul. Each piece for me is that creativity captured in the moment. It can be bold or understated, simple or complex, quirky or refined, organic or structured, traditional or non-traditional; the list goes on and on. My work is reflective of this varied exploration and journey. New techniques, styles, “what would happen if …” thoughts are incorporated to expand and define each piece.
