Artist Statement: I love stories. Especially recounting them naïvely on ceramic objects. Applying them as an invitation to dive into a universe that is as intimate as it is common.

Studio Description:  Intimate place close to the sea. The view and people inspire my work.

What type of clay do you use? Stoneware

What temperature do you fire to? Cone 5

What is your primary forming method? Wheel throwing

What is your favorite surface treatment? Mixed technics

Do you make any of your own tools? Yes, once in a while.

What one word would you use to describe your work? Narrative

What is your favorite thing about your studio? The beauty of the surrounding

What is the one thing in your studio you can’t live without? Brushes

What are your top three studio wishes? To finish the space and use sustainable energy.

What’s on your current reading list? Fantasy books

How do you save money on materials and supplies? Recycling

How do you recharge creatively? People I met, readings, breathing and get inspired by the sea.

Do you have any DIY tips for studio efficiency? Not there yet

What challenges have you given yourself to overcome? Taking more time for one of a kind work.

What did you first piece look like? Bold

What ceramic superpower would you have and why? Get to work without body pain.

Who is your ceramic art mentor and why? Marcel Beaucage. He get me in the ceramic world and have a great vision of the field.

What is your studio playlist? Ho boy! So much stuff!

Why do you create art? It's a way of living, I mean not the income part, but the look at the world.

What is your best studio tip? Stretching!

If you could change one property of clay, what would it be? Nothing, it's perfect at it is.
