Studio Description: My story is simple, I married in 1971, raised two boys as a stay at home mom. We moved 28 times from coast to coast for my husbands work. In 1983 I introduced my hands to clay and it was love at first touch. I have been a self taught artist all my life. It comes natural to me and my imagination is unending. My small kiln was put in the closet for 20 years as I worked in our joint coffee business adventure. In 2006 I became a cancer survivor and in 2013 decided to retire and bring out the clay, buy a bigger kiln and create. I love making a variety of things: ceramic jewelry, florals, figurines, vases, luminaries, and the list goes on. Since I am new again to the clay world, I have entered a few juried shows and to my humble surprise have been awarded best in show and judges choice awards.
