Artist Statement: I build porcelain pottery from wheel thrown & handbuilt sections, which are combined into animated functional forms. Slow practice allows me to shift focus between formal elements, intentional references, & the functionality of my pottery.

What temperature do you fire to? C/6 Electric
What is your primary forming method? I combine simple wheel thrown and altered shapes with slabs formed on bisque molds.
What is your favorite surface treatment? Spraying glaze over layered underglaze and glazes
Do you make any of your own tools? Nope.
What is your favorite thing about your studio? Camraderie
What is the one thing in your studio you can’t live without? Clay
What are your top three studio wishes? Larger Commercial space to run more classes and offer more spaces Glazes that would mix themselves : ) More staffing
