Artist Statement:
I have now been doing ceramic art for over 8 years and rather than building a consistent body of work (many have told me I need to do this), I continue to explore and experiment. I have a very full life of diverse experiences to bring to myself.

Currently BMix, Black Mountain, Amador, LB Blend.

Cone 10.

What is your primary forming method?
Pottery wheel altered pieces.

Thick slip with combing.

Convenience -it is on the same property as my house.

Plenty - currently I am reading about wood firing.

How do you save money on materials and supplies?
I shop sales and look for free shipping. Garage sales and Craigslist are helpful.

I use Pinterest and research ceramic artists. I periodically step away from ceramics and come back to it refreshed.

It is satisfying and exciting to create!
