During these 48 years of making pots and narrative sculpture my work has gotten farther away from the academic approach and technical considerations. I handle clay in a casual manner with the idea that anything is possible and OK as well, intuitively making work that I like. I am concerned with the immediacy of making, process, struggle and more interested trusting the flaws not the flawless.
