Studio Description:

My little studio has the best views over the High Desert of New Mexico and I love working, playing and creating here looking over our horse pasture and the High Desert covered sparsely with sage and juniper. You are always welcome to stop by, just give me a quick call and the doors will be open.

I mostly create functional ware and put intentions and prayers into each piece. I also love doing horse hair pottery! Both I love to offer as custom orders. I know so many people with horses who like the hair of their horses (alive or already transitioned) used and I treat each piece with respect.

I focus on color and shape to capture beauty that is reflecting nature in some way or another. Many of my pieces are blue - I must miss the ocean of Maui! ? But you will also find the desert reflected in Earth tones, matte and shiny. I mix my own glazes and always experiment with new things.
