Studio Description: Having been a production potter and an art director, I am now on my third stage of artistic exploration, working with 2 & 3 dimensional art, inspired by light and motion. My unique crystalline glazed porcelain pottery have exploding atoms of liquid glass crystals, that solidifies light in many dimensions. Crystals call to mind a world of open, endless, possibilities. My monotypes and photographs, catch a moment of Western Colorado life.
Western Colorado's landscape of desert and mountains is a song of pure line in motion. I discover daily, my sense of centered self in working with line and clay. To bring that joy and strength of understanding to others is my goal in my art an in my teaching. Here is some of that light.
