Yes, make a radius cut in your sponges and hook them onto your water container.

What did your first piece look like?
One of my first pieces from my first-ever class was at the Brooklyn Museum in 1973. It was a wheel-thrown, brown, clay planter about 8 inches tall and about 6 inches in diameter. The 2 handles were penises...lol. It was chosen to be in the student show.
What ceramic superpower would you have and why?
Centering! It's the only frustrating part.
What area of skill do you most look to other artists to learn?
Nerikami
Who is your ceramic art mentor and why?
Ruth Duckworth. Her inspiration for me was enormous.

Rock 'n Roll
Why do you create art?
I have to.....it's an addiction.
Who is your favorite artist and what do you admire about that artist?
Georgia O'Keeffe and her free spirit!
What is your best studio tip?
For me, keep it organized!
If you could change one property of clay, what would it be?
That it wouldn't dry so fast.
