Studio Description:
Melanie Close Liotta earned a BA in Art in 1970. She has taught pottery in community art center all over Northern California and for 25 years in her 4th -7th grade classroom. Liotta is now retired and focusing her energy on creating a body of artistic, colorful, functional stoneware. All her work is wheel-thrown and fired to ^6 oxidation. Liotta has a fully equipped studio in her home.
