In this two-hour workshop, Be Rose will share how she works with colored clay, slip trailing, and inlay with stains to create her signature patchwork pots! Be will show you how to create luscious textured and patterned surfaces using slip trailing and colored clay additions. She'll also discuss color theory so your palette feels intentional and beautiful!
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate (but Beginners will find plenty of inspiration too!)

Make colored clay with Mason stains using fresh out-of-the-bag clay, reclaim, or slip!
Use colored clay cut-outs to build textured, dimensional surfaces!
Map out textile-inspired designs and add definition with inlay techniques!
Add more color with underglazes and slip-trailed accents!
Use stained slip as both a decorative element and a joining slip!
