Seats Limited! Wheel Throwing Stacked Forms with Antonio Martinez!

Explore how to create new and exciting forms on the wheel in this engaging workshop with Antonio Martinez! This two-hour online demonstration will be great for both beginning and advanced potters hoping to improve their throwing skills and branch out into making new forms. This two-hour, all-demonstration workshop will cover the entire process of  making a stacked vase form. Antonio will walk you through his process of designing, creating, decorating, and assembling wheel thrown parts to achieve larger and more-dynamic forms. Plus, all attendees will be entered in a drawing to win one of Antonio’s tumblers (like the one shown below)!

You’ll also learn how to:

  • Make larger forms through stacking methods
  • Design dynamic pots that go beyond the basics
  • Tighten up your skills to throw with greater precision
  • Embellish the surface with thick slips

This workshop is geared toward advanced-beginner through advanced-level artists. Participants who would like to work along at home should have the following tools available: Clay, pottery wheel, your favorite throwing tools, and thick decorating slip.

Our Workshop from Home webinars are just like in-person workshops, except you are guaranteed a front-row seat! Ask questions throughout, or during the Question & Answer session at the end.

You’ll also receive a link to the PDF resource document in your registration email that includes a list of Antonio’s recommended tools, his glaze recipes, and helpful information about his firing temperatures and clay bodies!
