This is a matte dipping glaze, which should measure 55 SPG on a hydrometer, or visually look like half-and-half cream. Thoroughly mix before using, as the spodumene will settle in the bottom of the bucket. I fire in gas reduction, and turn off the kiln when cone 7 bends to 2 o’clock. In oxidation, the appearance will be more translucent and less white.
