This equates to a ration of 1 part stain to 3 parts Ferro Frit 3124. Mix with water until you reach the desired consistency. For a 100gram batch, use 1 tablespoon of Laundry Starch and 1 tablespoon of Glycerine.

The laundry starch keeps color resilient before firing. The glycerin (glycerol) improves brushability.

Colorants: You can use a variety of Mason stains. Avoid any stain or underglaze that contains chromium (it reacts with the tin oxide in the white majolica glaze, making the glaze turn pink).
